It started with frustration. Every skincare product I tried either lacked results or came wrapped in layers of plastic. I wanted more. So I rolled up my sleeves, studied formulation science, and began handcrafting skincare that’s vegan, palm oil-free, plastic-free, and yes-made with intention and integrity. Each batch is made by hand, not machines, so every jar tells a story of care and craftsmanship.

I am also a seasoned traveler and I love the thrill of discovering new cultures. However, there was one part of traveling I dreaded: packing my toiletries.

On a particularly memorable trip to Paris, my long-standing frustration with liquid toiletries reached a boiling point. As I stood at the security checkpoint, I watched helplessly as the airport staff confiscated my expensive shampoo and conditioner bottles, declaring them over the limit. It was a heart-sinking moment, made worse by the realization that I would have to purchase replacements upon arrival—an unnecessary expense.
